Episode 7 - Core Values | Gospel-Centered
Within this episode, our host Connor Vincent unpacks Summit Youth’s first core value of being Gospel-Centered. A common temptation Christians can have when interpreting and preaching different passages, is finding the moral imperatives of a biblical text and preaching those commands. The problem with this type of preaching is that it almost sounds like a “do better” TED Talk instead of preaching Christ and Him crucified. Connor unpacks the story found in Luke 24 where Jesus unfolds how the whole Old Testament points to Jesus and the Gospel story as a means of redeeming how we handle the Old Testament.
